Hi Rocky We love our camper, and have had it all over Ohio and Pennsylvania this summer. We have plans for the Smokey Mountains, Virginia Beach, and the Dakotas over the next 5 years. No major complaints - everything is A-OK. A few minor repairs/adjustments, such as loose screws. My design complaint to Outback is that I have to worm my way under the camper to hook up the propane to the outside kitchen stove. The input to the gas nozzle should be much easier to access. My surprise? I never thought we would use the outside kitchen at all - and we use it all the time. Everyday. We were undecided between the 28RSDS and this one, We made the RIGHT decision. We like not having to pull out the rear bed when we set up, and the room to walk around the bed. The extra storage is also a plus. We use all the storage in the front and rear bottoms, especially when we travel. My next upgrade (on order) is the propride anti-sway hitch. I believe this will add to my pulling ease as I have some sway problems with the length of this camper. Thanks again - we are happy campers. Dan & Vicki Vincent

Rocky Holman Rocks! From the first handshake to the last Rocky has been more than the gentleman salesman. We were unsure of which model RV to purchase - he helped. We were unsure about the best amenities for our family - he helped. We were unsure about technical specifications - he helped. If there is one bit of advice I could give to a potential RV buyer, I would say consider Holman but more specifically, consider Rocky Holman. # I owe you guys a big thanks 2 times over. First, as soon as I got the camper up my wife asked if I got her shower head off of the old camper. As Eddie helped me move my stuff over and did that area I said no. Last summer she complained and complained about the shower head and insisted I get her a new one and it made the shower acceptable to her. To my surprise when I put away everything in the new camper I came across the shower head! It's not much but it did save me about $30. The next surprise was when I left the TV remote in the camper and didn't realize it for a week or two. I called Eddie and within a few days it shows up...along with the remote to one of our digital cable boxes. I didn't even realize that I had left it and Eddie took the time to match up the remotes that belonged to the camper and sent me the ones that didn't belong. Again, saving me some cash and scrambling around looking for a lost remote. I'll help you guys out in return. I've attached the Floorplan for my old camper for you ads and I'll also post the description I used when I tried to sell it at the end of this email in case you want to use it. Also, next time I'm down your way, lunch is on me. Please send me your managers email address so I can let him/her know how happy I am with the process of the sale and after the sale. #Hi Eddie, I have to tell you that my wife did not think I was of stable mind when I told her that we were driving from Boston MA to Cincinnati OH five days before Christmas in order to trade in our existing motorhome for a new Forest River Berkshire 39QS. During the trip we ran into driving snow with white out conditions, freezing rain, and sleet however we made the trip successfully in both directions. I want to take this opportunity to thank you and the Holman Family for your hospitality. Not only did you give us a great deal on our new coach but went well beyond the service I expected when you had a new Acadia available for our use while we were in Cincinnati and even allowed us to spend the first night in our new coach in your showroom rather than out in the cold. Jamie,I just wanted to drop you a quick note of appreciation.You lived up to and exceeded all of your commitments and as I too am in a service industry, it does not go unnoticed.You have a great support staff, your husband Eddy stepped in for a day or two when you were ill. The man who delivered my unit to Calais (paul?)...again, above a beyond my expectations. He actually arrived early, communicated his ETA within a minute...he stated 1:30...1:31 was the actual time LOL. He took the time to explain some of the features with me, noticed that my weight distribution system was not set up properly and assisted me in conjunction with a local garage to assure my safety and the safety of others was his number one priority.He spoke very highly of the Holman family...Eric by name.The trailer has met my expectations and I am very pleased with it so far.Please feel free to use me as a reference for any potential customers.Again, I thank you for your countless emails and phone calls, you are a true professional.

Jamie, Just wanted to take time to let you know the trailer made it back to Akron without any problems. The towing was just fine although I can't say I enjoyed pulling it through the crazy traffic in Columbus. Also wanted to say Thank You to you Jamie and all of the staff there that made purchasing my trailer a really easy and good experience. And to all the people that helped me with the hook up and got me on the road. It was a real pleasure doing business with you all and I will be sure to add my feedback to ebay on what an excellent company you have. The only hurdle I have left is transporting the trailer to the beach in the spring and I think I have someone to get it there for me. Outback 230RS Are you NERVOUS about buying an RV over the INTERNET! We were so nervous - but we kept thinking of the thousands of dollars we would save on purchasing our RV from Holman Motors. Tami and I communicated via email with Jamie and Eddie Holmberg and asked a million and one questions about the RV, the details of the sale, and the delivery process. Jamie and Eddie answered ALL of our questions in a timely, personal, and professional manner - Tami and I feel like we have known them both for years yet we have never met them personally - we plan to visit Holman Motors in our travels. When it came time for us to decide if we would really make this Long Distance Online Purchase - Holman's Financial Manager, Ron Cramlet, made us feel like family - Ron handled all the paperwork as if we were his children. Then the delivery - the transport staff talked to us every day of the five day 2500 mile trip it took to get our RV to Washington State. The transport trip was the most nervous time for us - especially since it was winter weather in most of the traveled states. The staff transporting our RV only traveled when the roads were safe. They were always more concerned about Safety - not how much time it was taking for them to deliver the RV. Once our RV arrived - I read all the manuals and of course I had more questions! Jamie put me in contact with Holman's Service Department. Charlie called me the very next day and answered all my questions - Charlie did laugh a little but was NOT making fun of me or my questions.     My Husband Jeff and I would like to express our thanks to Bill Leonard for a wonderful experience on purchasing our new Hornet. We just cant say enough about his special personality.   • Dear Holman Family,

    Karen and I just wanted to write and express our gratitude for the awesome experience we had purchasing our new 2008 Sportscoach Pathfinder 384TS. From the very beginning, Rocky, our salesman, was very responsive to our every need. Although we live over 600 miles from your dealership, he was very responsive to every email we sent, which included adding hundreds of pictures to the web site so we could get a great look at several of the fabulous coaches you have on hand at your dealership. He answered every question, sometimes within minutes of them being sent! Your offer to pick us up at the airport (well over 2 hours away) and provide us with transportation during our stay so that we could come and look at your motor coaches was most generous and turned out to be one of the best buying experiences of our lives.

    We arrived (late - due to a flight delay) in Columbus, Ohio where your driver awaited, and drove us almost two hours to our hotel. The following morning Rocky picked us up at the hotel and took us directly to the dealership and right to the coach we were most interested in. We spent a couple of hours going over the coach, test driving it and discussing the upgrades we wanted to make to it prior to purchasing it. My wife and I then had the opportunity to walk around your lot to look at the other 25 Class A motor coaches you had for sale. At the conclusion of our walk around we were convinced the coach presented to us both over the internet and in person was the one we wanted. It was simply amazing to us that we were able to view a product of this magnitude over the internet and be completely satisfied with it when we arrived at your facility. What a fabulous job Rocky did marketing the product and answering all of our questions about it!

    During our stay you provided us with a vehicle to drive, let us spend a night in the coach before we actually purchased it, and directed us to great places to dine and shop while waiting for the upgrades to be completed. This was a major purchase for Karen and I and you made the experience absolutely perfect! Not to mention that you saved us about $40k by traveling from Virginia Beach, VA to Batavia, OH. Great Job!! You have the best prices in the nation on coaches. Please let us know if you ever have anyone in this area who is interested in looking at probably the nicest coach in our neck of the woods - we would be happy to show it off to them and tell them what a great experience we had at your dealership. We are completely satisfied!!

  • I started to wonder if we would make it home or not! About 3 hours from home the weather took a turn for the worst!! We had to drive 30-35 mph the rest of the trip! The roads were icy and snow packed!! We left Anamosa at 11:00 am and got home at 10:00 pm. It is usually a 7 hour trip! At least we made it.

    The kids are in heaven! They think it is awesome..and so do we. I think we figured out how to run everything yesterday. The only think was the hot water heater..I think he was wondering where the valve is for that. If I am saying that correctly!! It even came with the carpet for the toy box! I thought I would have to purchase that! The TV didn't work so I had John unmount it from the wall and the power cord must have wiggled out of the slot behind the mounting kit. So, we got that to work also. The TV is amazing. It picks up channels at our house and the picture is crystal clear. Does it have the TV converter box built into it? Anything we need to know about the set up or first use of it?
